Professor Ts. Dr. Liew Kai Bin is Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Industry at the University of Cyberjaya, Malaysia, and a certified Professional Technologist. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Technology from Universiti Sains Malaysia, specializing in novel drug delivery systems such as fast-melt films and cocoa butter-based formulations. Dr. Liew has authored over 100 publications, holds 3 patents, and secured 18 research grants (~RM1.4 million). He is an award-winning researcher, editor for Heliyon and PLOS ONE, and an industry consultant, dedicated to advancing patient-friendly and sustainable drug delivery solutions.
